Building Better Men Since 1834
DELTA UPSILON AT LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY
Our Mission is Building Better Men
Founded on November 4, 1834, at Williams College, Delta Upsilon is one of the oldest international fraternities and the first to be founded as non-secret and non-hazing. Our associate chapter was established in the spring of 2019 at LMU as the newest fraternity on campus.
Our founding members have all come from unique & diverse backgrounds, but one characteristic that is synonymous with all of us is our drive to create, lead, and be a pioneer. Together we strive to be men for and with others in our communities, locally and globally.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Welcome to Delta Upsilon at LMU
Thank you for visiting our website! We are getting ready for a busy schedule of online social activities, volunteering opportunities and philanthropy efforts for the Spring 2021 semester. We know the past year hasn't gone as expected, but these several months have reminded us that having a brotherhood can exist in multiple forms, physically and virtually. We look forward to the many opportunities this upcoming new year will bring! In the meantime, please take a moment to explore our website to learn more about us.

ABOUT OUR ASSOCIATE CHAPTER
DU is for the People
Our mission of Building Better Men is built upon by our four founding values and principles. These are the promotion of friendship, the advancement of justice, the development of character, and the diffusion of liberal culture.
Since our founding in January 2019, our members have upheld these values through academic success, philanthropy, service, and active community engagement. Our members are actively involved in many other organizations on campus as well, allowing them to create lifelong bonds and consistently give back to their communities.
We have been very active with service events relating to environmental issues in our world today, often performing beach cleanups at local beaches near LMU. We direct our philanthropy efforts toward children in need, whether they are sick, homeless, or in need of families to adopt & love them. We love them!
In our free time, we love to go to dinner together (usually KBBQ!), surf, play basketball, go hiking, play video games & chat on Discord, or just hang out with the guys and have a good time!
As we are a non-secret fraternity, all of our events, associate chapter meetings, bylaws, and rush processes are open for anyone to visit and/or learn more about.
